Retreat With Us at Red Dog Surf — Where Skill Meets Soul
Discover one of Australia’s most raw and untamed surf zones with Red Dog Surf, proudly based at Point Plomer in Limeburners Creek National Park on the Mid North Coast.
This is more than a surf trip. It’s a tailored retreat experience designed to help you upgrade your surf skills (no matter your level), connect with like-minded crew, and fully decompress in a setting of rare beauty and serenity.
Nestled between bush and beach, our remote coastal base offers front-row access to a wave-rich region that’s as soulful as it is uncrowded. Here, nature sets the pace. The air is clean, the ocean is alive with opportunity, and the distractions of everyday life fall away. With a dedicated team supporting you throughout your stay, you’re free to drop into the rhythm of surf, rest, and genuine connection.
Our local stretch of coastline is home to a diverse range of waves, from cruisy longboard rollers to playful peaks and hollow beach breaks, all within a short paddle or scenic drive from camp. Daily guided surf sessions are tailored to your ability and goals, matching you with the best conditions and local knowledge so you can progress with confidence, flow, and ease.
When conditions align, we also venture further afield on optional guided day missions to nearby gems. These sessions are always led with safety, stoke, and flexibility in mind, offering the chance to explore new breaks without the stress of logistics.
Our retreat-style surf stays are based in a bush-meets-beach setting just steps from the sand. You can join as a solo traveller, come with a mate, or bring your crew, choosing from shared accommodation or private cabins for a more intimate, relaxed stay.
Set within Limeburners Creek National Park, our eco-conscious base invites you to slow down, switch off, and truly reconnect, not just with the surf, but with yourself. With small groups, personalised guidance, and years of local surf intel, this is an unforgettable retreat for those ready to specialise, progress, and experience surfing the way it was meant to be: simple, supported, and deeply nourishing.
